To submit an article or research paper for publication, please send it in as an attachment to socgenjournal@gmail.com and include your name, title, and a statement authorizing SGRJ to exclusively publish the paper.

Please also briefly describe the paper in the body of the email. If an article is accepted, it will undergo an extensive peer-review process with at least three separate editors on the editorial board. We look forward to your submission!

Our editorial board examines each piece of research to see what it potentially contributes to the Journal, and our goal of attracting audiences interested in multidimensional approaches to real world problems. The SGRJ accepts undergraduate interdisciplinary articles of all kinds. SGRJ looks for good writing, which involves clarity, precision, and a strong attempt towards objectivity. Content and style also play a role in selecting articles for publication.

SUBMISSIONS DUE MAY 30th, 2023

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

STYLE:

Clarity: Allow the reader to focus on the content of the article, by avoiding long, convoluted sentences that may obstruct understanding of complex topics.

Precision: Please be specific and precise, as abstract and vague writing detracts meaning and may cause confusion.

Objectivity: While SGRJ acknowledges that achieving true objectivity in writing is rare and arguably impossible, please attempt to achieve objectivity by making claims based on facts rather than emotions and personal opinions. Additionally, please consider different perspective towards issues to achieve a holistic understanding of your topic.

CITATIONS:

SGRJ is currently following APA formatting. Please ensure all in-text citations and references appear in APA format.

Please review the articles that have already been accepted to the journal on this sheet. We will not be accepting submissions that are extremely similar to articles that have already been accepted.
