What is the SGRJ club?

The SGRJ club, associated with the Society and Genetics Research Organization, aims to increase access to intersectional scholarship by guiding aspiring authors through the research process from start to finish. The SGRJ club meets weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and club meetings include:

Guided Lessons

Including lessons on crafting a research question, finding sources, structuring a paper, and developing sections

Typing

Writing Time

Most meetings end with 30 minutes of time where authors can continue to make progress on their papers together

Learn to Read

Editing Support

SGRJ editors are present at each meeting to answer questions, offer suggestions, and provide support to aspiring authors

SGRJ is currently recruiting authors

We have developed a year-long program to help aspiring authors develop their ideas into a complete paper. We highly encourage students who are interested in developing work for publication to apply to the SGRJ club via the form linked below:
